Actually, you are in the minority - for one thing, most people don't leave 
the folder root set to their entire home directory, and there are a lot of 
people who don't have subscription lists, so if we distributed IMP with 
this on, they wouldn't see any of their folders and would panic or, at 
least, come to us yelling "what did you do to my folders!" =)
