[imp] Server "namespace" not hiding INBOX. when creating folders

I can understand how that might work with some IMAP servers, but Courier-IMAP
requires that all subfolders be off of INBOX, so folders must be set to
INBOX. . So it appears that with Courier-IMAP, if you don't want your folders
to appear as INBOX.Sales or INBOX.Support, you must also set namespace to
INBOX. 

Does this make sense? Has anyone solved this another way?
