message line goes on and on sometimes

When viewing mail: sometimes ...(I believe when some people send messages they 
don't hit the enter key to create a new line).

The e-mail message will continue on and on so that you have to scroll 
horizontally. Is there some way I can program an automatic wordwrap or size to 
page in php pages ...and which page would I change?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
