[imp] IMP 3.1: Undefined identities use MY name - Help

Grr, bad form to reply to self.
Red Hat 7.2, horde 2.0, IMP 3.1
More details. Let's say in imp/config/servers.php I have:
'maildomain' => 'example.com'
In /etc/mail/virtusertable I have the 'catch all' for this
domain set to a user as such:
@example.com darien
When /horde/config/horde.php is configured to use sendmail,
any users that do not have an existing personality are
assigned the name of the user specified in the virtusertable
as the catch-all for the maildomain.
I don't completely understand why, but at least we now know where.
(Not suggesting there is a bug, just providing information to
others that might stumble across a similar issue.)

>SMTP (horde/config/horde.php) the problem disappeared. Now I have to

Things weren't completely implemented in 3.0.

Arg! That is mail.ph.utexas.edu, no mail.utexas.edu, so:
https://mail.ph.utexas.edu/patches/misc/enriched.php.txt
Sorry.
