[imp] Attachment only contains a null byte

I'am using Apache 1.3.23 with IMP 3.1 RC2 and IMP 3.0.
I can't sending attachments.
If I attach a file and post it the result is a mail which contains
the header information of the attachment but not the data self.
The attachment which IMP generates only contains one
null byte.
I'am sending an attachment with this mail (for example).

Have I to change something within my apache configuration or is
it an IMP thing ?
Every suggestion is welcome.
