[imp] Scheduling Expunging in imp 2.2.7

Hi, (this is a total newbie in IMP asking for help)

I have imp 2.2.7 working, but I was wondering if there was a way to
schedule the expunging of deleted marked messages, much in the way imp 3.0
does, i.e. via:

> $_prefs['purge_trash'] = 1 and _prefs['purge_trash_interval'] = 4
> (daily)

I noticed that imp 2.2.7 does not move the deleted marked message to any
other folder, but I would still want to schedule their expunging...

if this is not implemented, where should I look for in the code?
