[imp] Imap/Imp questions

Is your server quite heavily loaded?  I am using an old AMD 400mhz (single IDE disk) against IMP 3.1 rc something + Courier IMAP.  I don't tend to bother archiving mail very well, and I have a couple of folders with over 300 messages in, and display is basically instant...  Perhaps 1-2 secs

Also Outlook Express loads the folders "instantly" using IMAP (less than a few secs), even at the far end of an ADSL link with SSH in the middle...

I am using Maildir rather than mail files.  Show attachments is off.  SquirrelMail is about the same speed give or take.  Server is very lightly loaded, just me using it.

Thanks for the answers. I have turned off 'show_attachments'
and it seems like it is staying on the 19sec side a little more
consistantly now.
