 I don't know if you'll need this,  but I figured you might want to add it
to your "known working" IMAP/POP servers.  Maybe not.  Anyways, I have a
working configuration with a Linux server (slackware 8.0 w/ apache
php, and all that) pulling email from a OpenVMS 7.2 (yes,  you read that
correctly :) IMAP and POP3 server.   I'm running Processes Multinet TCP/IP
for OpenVMS.  It _looks_ like the IMAP/POP servers are based (ports?) 
of the University of washington IMAP server.  Thats my hunch   

  Anways,  its been fun setting up.  heh.
