[imp] MySQL Fatal Error on Login (was: Host of Problems with IMP)

OK, I've solved all of the problems by upgrading to Apache 2.0.36 and PHP
4.2.0 (yea, yea, I know it's the bleeding edge, but I couldn't get 1.3.19 to
parse the PHP correctly with 4.2.0).
But now I have an interesting question: when I try to log in, IMP tries to
connect to the db (mysql 2.3.x) to log in with root@sigil instead of
root@localhost. These are the settings to the db in conf/horde.php
$conf['prefs']['params']['phptype'] = 'mysql';
$conf['prefs']['params']['hostspec'] = 'localhost';
$conf['prefs']['params']['username'] = 'root';
$conf['prefs']['params']['password'] = '**************';
$conf['prefs']['params']['database'] = 'horde';
$conf['prefs']['params']['table'] = 'horde_prefs';
And this is the error that the IMP spits out:
object(db_error)(7) {
["error_message_prefix"]=>
string(0) ""
["mode"]=>
int(1)
["level"]=>
int(1024)
["code"]=>
int(-24)
["message"]=>
string(24) "DB Error: connect failed"
["userinfo"]=>
string(81) " [nativecode=Access denied for user: 'root@sigil' (Using
password: YES)] ** Array"
["callback"]=>
NULL
}
[/var/www/webmail-html/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php : 102]
So how do I force it to always use @localhost and not @sigil.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Rodolfo
