[imp] IMP Performance, and PHP Accelerator

I'm currently experiencing some CPU limitations on my boxes, and am looking 
for some quick solutions.  I've already disabled the compress_pages option 
in horde.php which seems to help a little.  Our environment is mostly POP3 
based with a smattering of IMAP.  Any other ideas to reduce IMP's CPU 
intensity?

Also, is anyone running PHP accelerator on Solaris 8 with 
IMP(http://www.php-accelerator.co.uk)?  I'd love to hear some testimonials 
as it sounds like a good way to solve part of the problem!
