Not easy, like in possible ;)
It's ok now, php 4.2.1 is up and running, and I even managed to get the Log
stuff of pear to go:
PEAR - Yes
Recent PEAR - Yes
Mail::RFC822 - Yes
Log - Yes
DB - Yes
What I did was this, I checked in the source what this test.php page is
checking, and I found that is was just looking for the filename.
Since DB was ok, I started to rename 1 by 1 all DB.php files that I have on
my system (quite a few by now).
After every rename, I reloaded apache and refreshed the page untill it said
that I had no DB support. Guess what, in the directory I just renamed
DB.php, Log was missing!
Thanks to you all for all the help. Next up is a postgresql error, but I'll
try to fix it myself first (it's about time for a new thread if you ask me)

I grimanced when I read that. The 4.2.1 upgrade is usually not
an easy one.

Yes... Notice the word "Try" also ;)

See horde/docs/INSTALL for info on how to get the missing LOG package.
That is from the CVS checkout. If you don't have that, it says:
Horde requires several additional PEAR modules to be installed
for complete functionality.
a. Log
To install, you must enter the following at the command prompt:
pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Log
b. Mail_Mime
To install, you must enter the following at the command prompt:
pear install http://pear.php.net/get/Mail_Mime
The above assumes you have a standalone pear program installed, and not
just mod_php installed. Otherwise you can download the needed files
directly and toss them in place. As the INSTALL file says:
For more detailed directions on installing PEAR modules, see
the PEAR documentation at http://pear.php.net/manual/

harmless among the rank and file, but when management is afflicted the

can be measured in dollars. It's also contagious -- someone with sufficient
political clout can infect an entire organization."
