| Hi,
|
| I was just wondering if there is a way to stop horde/imp and display a
| systems maintenance message? besides substituting another index.php
| file in place of the default?

Your best bet is to temporarily replace the login page with the down for maintenance page. Using the HEAD branch, it would be possible to write a maintenance module to show a screen to the user immediately after logging in and then immediately logging that user out.
