[imp] IMP not sending out

I know qmail/vpopmail are working,
 because I can send and receive
 from MS outlook.

IMP did work for about 3-4 months, then all of a sudden it stopped sending
messages. I can see new messages in the INBOX, but cannot compose any
messages.

when you try to send a message through IMP and hit send, it will say
"message sent successfully" how ever the logs never show anything, no
successfully sent log entry no error log entry (that I can find).

I have tried restarting services but that did not work.

any help would be appreciated.
