[imp] expand_fromaddress and user controlled from address?

Hi List,

i'm running imp with multiple virtual domains. Mapping to the right user account is done with the expand_fromaddress und expand_username functions in conf/conf.php.

Everything works fine so far, except that it is not possible
for users to change there fromaddresses or have multiple fromaddresses through multiple identities.

Is there a possibility to have imp expand the fromaddress only when the user didn't set up an explicit address?
