[imp] Identity won't save

Hello,

I have recently installed horde-2.1.3, turba-1.1-2mdk, and imp-3.1-2 on a 
system running Mandrake 8.2 and a postgres database.  Php version is php-
4.1.2-1mdk.

Everything appears to be working (I can send mail, create / change 
contacts, etc.) except for identities.  I can change / create an identity 
and have it display in the drop down, but when I leave this screen the 
changes do not "stick".  It seems that imp cannot store the changes for 
some reason.

Having read in some newsgroups that this problem is caused by an 
incompatible PEAR version (mine was included with the Php 4.1.2-1 RPMS), 
I tried upgrading the Php RPMS to 4.2.3...this broke imp in its entirety 
(horde complained about the log class not being available).  So, I 
downgraded back to 4.1.2-1 and everything worked again except for the 
identities.

Can someone give me a hand and explain why this issue is occuring and 
what the workaround is?  Very happy with imp so far, but would be great 
to be able to save an identity.
