[imp] PHP 4.2.3 and IMP 2.2.7/Horde 1.2.7

I had a problem with php 4.2.3 it was cutting the first 4 characters off in
SELECT and INSERT statements into mysql.
I recompiled to 4.2.2 and all was fine, didnt do any further investigations
on this matter. Although it was across the broad as phpmyadmin had the same
issues as turba.
