[imp] Any tips for performance ?

Hi, I'm running IMP on a 1.1 GHz Linux box, 100 accounts but only 1 or 2 
users at a time....

Back end is Exchange 5.5

For some users it is very very slow to log in ie. 30 seconds +

What are the major factors ?

Number of folders ?
Number of emails in Inbox ?

Also when I click on the folder button at the top it hammers the servers 
CPU forever until it times out... (normaly have to restart apache !)

Any ideas / hints ?
