[imp] changing the uid

Are you logging in with your uid or your mail attribute?  For example,
in my configuration with ldap/courier/imp uid is completely independent
of login.  I am authenticating with imp/imap and my imap server expects
user@domain.com and doesn't check if the uid=user or uid=user2
