 | Ok,

 | UPDATE ON NOT BEING ABLE TO SEND MAIL
 | --------------------------------------
 |
 | After doing some digging... I have found that my /var/adm/messages file
 | produces the following when the 'SEND' button is clicked in the compose
 | window (FYI: www is my webserver user):
 |
 | Mar  4 21:41:06 dkonstruct sendmail[21174]: h252f6Us021174:
 | from=ntorvik at dkonstruct.com, size=465, class=0, nrcpts=1,
 | msgid=<1046832066.3e6563c284653 at dkonstruct.com>, relay=www at localhost
 |
 | Mar  4 21:44:15 dkonstruct sendmail[21174]: h252f6Us021174:
 | to=dariuus at hotmail.com,ctladdr=ntorvik at dkonstruct.com (1000/100),
 | delay=00:03:09, xdelay=00:03:09, mailer=relay, pri=30452,
 | relay=localhost.com. [10.11.12.13], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection
 | timed out with localhost.com.
 |
 | Mar  4 21:44:15 dkonstruct dkimap4[21172]: doimap4: ntorvik: logout by
 | user request
 |
 | Apparently, IMP is sending mail out as localhost.com (which is a real
 | domain not owned by me). Is this something I need to correct in
 | sendmail? Or is it an IMP problem? If this was fixed in the latest CVS
 | than perhaps once I get help with the config.xml issue maybe it will go
 | away..
 |
 |

that's definately a sendmail issue. check and make sure the .cf and .mc files
are reflecting your environment and that those are the config files being used
by whatever installation/version of sendmail you are using. you should be seing
something like ::

Mar  2 07:46:55 sigil sendmail[29183]: h22DkrRS029183: from=<imp-
bounces at lists.horde.org>, size=2187, class=-30, nrcpts=1,
msgid=<000c01c2e0bd$bfa38280$286bfea9 at OBLIVION>, proto=ESMTP, daemon=MTA,
relay=vlad.horde.org [199.175.137.148]

in your maillog.

Cheers,

Rodolfo
