[imp] modifying fetchmail functionality in IMP CVS

Hi,
         I am using Horde/IMP cvs and using MailScanner for Virus and Spam 
scanning.
I know that IMP has a inbuilt fetchmail functionality. But while fetching 
mails, they
don't get scanned for Virus and Spam and don't allow to forward the scanned 
mails to an external account.

How can I make this possibe?
