| I have seen similar behavior on my system after upgrading. I upgraded
| everything at once, so I can't say whether it was only the Horde upgrade
| that did it.
|
| There was another thread recently concerning performance. One of the
| suggestions mentioned was to install the mcrypt php module. I haven't
| tried this yet, but I'd be curious if it makes a difference.
#1 - INSTALL THE MCRYPT MODULE. This will *drastically* reduce performance.
#2 - If not using mcrypt, you should upgrade to the latest RELENG_2 version
of Horde. I just committed some code from HEAD:
http://lists.horde.org/archives/cvs/Week-of-Mon-20030407/022471.html
that Mike committed to HEAD a while ago. This new code reduces the number
of function calls by a LARGE number and caches function calls to result in
a tremendous impact in speed.
