[imp] Re: Problem viewing multipart MIME messages

Upgrading to PHP 4.3.1 fixed this problem for me, though I had to set

session.bug_compat_42 = 1
session.bug_compat_warn = 0

in my php.ini file (not sure if it's required to work properly, but 
that's what a quick google suggested other people were doing...)
