[imp] Upgrade on FreeBSD -- help!

OK, I've run out of 

Background: FreeBSD 4.7 box running a "mail toaster" courtesy of the recipe 
at matt.simerson.net/computing/mail/toaster/. 

When that was originally installed, I also had Horde/IMP installed as well. 
Never used it much because none of my users needed webmail at the time. 

Current problem: I tried to portupgrade the Horde and IMP installs, and 
although test.php tells me things are working, I get the following fatal 
error when trying to call up the index/login page: 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _() in 
/usr/local/www/horde/config/registry.php on line 84 

I've got a big-time desire to move some folks to a combination of IMP and 
Horde's timetracking application, so fixing this has suddenly become a 
priority. 


Possible solutions: 

* I can post my config files here, but that's probably a waste of bandwidth 
for those not interested in my plight. :) 

* A kind and trustworthy soul can SSH into my box and tell me what the hell 
I'm doing wrong. (And yes that's foolish -- but I'm desperate and apt to 
change my root password afterwards.) 

* I can take bids from people who want to do this for a fee. (Ugh!)
