[imp] Issues authenticating imap/pop3 using stock rh 7.3, 8 with imp 2.2.5 to current stable

Hi Eric,

Sorry about the annoying post on a tired issue.

I understand this issue was discussed a zillion times.

The problem is that I had NO IDEA that my LOGIN problem was
related to TLS, this is more info than a newbie (me) knows....

So when I read through the list archives I didn't find the answer
to the problem even though it was there.

For example, James Werkowski posted Apr 22 to imp at lists.horde.org the
same question that I had.

I sent him my post.
