[imp] Can not access CVSROOT dir

Hi there!
 
I got 500 error from lib/Chora.php line 112
 
if (!@is_dir($cvsroot)) {
fatal.......
}
 
where $cvsroot points to correct dirrectory. I can manually co, ci fioles 
from there
Env. variable CVSROOT is set correctly too.
 
Any ideas why this happens. File permissions ? Something else ?
