[imp] malformed From: addresses in message list

I'm playing around with IMP for the first time after having used Squirrelmail
for a few years and I'm finding it to be very stable and reliable. The biggest
problem I'm having is with messages delivered within our local network. These
emails come with a header like this:

From: "Nancy Painter" <NPAINTER.LMC.PCB>
Organization: Philadelphia Biblical University
To: jlee
Date: Wed, 02 Apr 2003 13:19:26 -0500
MIME-Version: 1.0
Subject: Continued problem with color printer settings
Message-ID: <3E8AE360.7881.13961C4 at localhost>
X-Confirm-Reading-To: "Nancy Painter" <NPAINTER.LMC.PCB>
X-pmrqc: 1
X-mailer: Pegasus Mail for Windows (v4.02a)
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT
Content-description: Mail message body
X-PMFLAGS: 532608 0 1 5F8060EA.CNM

In the message list, I only see this:

Date From Subject Size
02/04/03 Continued Problem with Color ... 923

When I view the message I see:

Date: Wed, 02 Apr 2003 13:19:26 -0500
From: Nancy Painter <NPAINTER.LMC.PCB@>
To: jlee@
Subject: Continued problem with color printer settings
Hi, Jay. ...

Obviously, IMP doesn't like the fact that the To and From fields are not
normal Internet addresses and is doing something funny in trying to figure them
out. My biggest concern is the instead of the name on the message list,
the actual message with the added @ is not a big deal. We use Pegasus Mail
4.02 (www.pmail.com) as our primary software which is responsible for these
messages. Is there anything we can do about this? Thanks for a great product.

Jay
