[imp] courier-imap, imp 3.2.1 -> How to enable/show Quota?

Hello list,

I am using IMP 3.2.1 (Horde 2.2) and the courier-imap server. IMP works
very well, however I can't get the quota thing. 
I've uncommented the"imp_show_quota" function in
conf.php and set "$conf['hooks']['quota'] = 'imp_show_quota';". However
it does not show anything about quota in the user view of IMP! How can I
test if the function works or can get some useful debug messages? What
do I have to do to enable the quota view for the IMP user at all?
