Cool. Thanks for your help thus far. I'll update and see what I get.

I got the update, and it did not fix my problem.
So, I got on another box (fresh-ish RH9 install, whereas the problematic box is
rh7.3->9 upgrade). I grabbed CVS code, did basically a fresh install of horde
+ imp + ingo etc. Things worked PERFECTLY.
So, on a whim, I copied over the database and that horde install to the
problembox, changed the relevant settings, and tried to run things. Even more
problems. So, I think that the problem is more than likely related to
something in PHP / mysql / somewhere NOT in horde.
Argh. Thanks for your time and help. I'll be doing a full, fresh reinstall of
Horde onto this problembox when I get more time, and maybe I'll notice which
settings are different and fix my problem.
