[imp] external authentication

Hi, all --

A partner and I are developing a web site which will use IMP for its
webmail.  My task (as you may be beginning to gather :-) is to get user
creation and webmail working.

I have already set IMP to be the authentication manager in the Horde
configs, but I'd like to go a step farther.  We want seamless integration
of IMP into our site, so we want the user to log in once and then when
s/he clicks the 'email' link to go into IMP without having to go through
the IMP login process first.

Has this been done before, or is this a new wheel?  Where do I go from
here?
