*Now* I have it too, because *now* the correct charset was used. What
happened before when I only saw a question mark, was that IMP tried to
convert the sign from iso-8859-1 (the charset the original message was
written in) to utf-8. That failed of course, because the sign only exist in
iso-8859-15. It looks like that other clients simply ignore the charset
setting and guess that the sender may have used the € sign. A wild guess
IMHO.
