[imp] attachments not attached properly

Hello,

I need help to set up Imp for about 1000 users.

my setup:
RH9,
httpd-2.0.40-21.i386.rpm
php-4.2.2-0horde3.i386.rpm
horde-2.2.3-1.noarch.rpm
php-mysql-4.2.2-0horde3.i386.rpm
php-imap-4.2.2-0horde3.i386.rpm
imp-3.2.1-1.noarch.rpm

We use a POP (not IMAP).

Eveything looks fine, but a major showstopper is that
mails with attachments are not sent properly.

On the receiveng end, there appears to be two
attachments
(while only one was sent), of those one is bogus
(empty), the other is truncated (ie. only half of a
.jpg file).

The reported size of the attachment is correct
however.

These attachments are below the size limit...
I tried symlinking php.ini to /var/lib/php.ini
and specifying /var/tmp/ as the "upload_tmp_dir"
in php.ini. I also added the line

php_value upload_tmp_dir /var/tmp

to my httpd.conf (plus restart).
Nothing worked so far.

I have set up previously another installment of imp
on a RH6.2 system (horde-core-1.0.6-1.i386.rpm,
imp-2.0.4-1.i386.rpm, etc...) and it worked perfectly.
Should I use some older versions of
horde/imp/mysql/php/apache?

cheers,

Szilard Torok
