Holas Marcelo,

	Una forma es hacerlo es colocar el hostname:port , esto lo puedes
hacer con versiones superiores a la 3.1 de mysql, lo otro es que 
es invocar el pide sock de ese mysql, esa parte no la tengo muy clara la
sintaxis para apuntar al mysql.sock. Eso lo permite la funcion mysql_connect.
