I completely agree. I just wanted to let everyone know that this is the fix
I was able to come up with; while not a good one.

We see this behavior as well. It sounds like doing any additional
updates on IE 6 may once again cause this problem with IMP. Encouraging
our users not to run the latest patches to IE isn't a good solution for
us for what should be obvious reasons.
Has anybody tracked down the source of this problem and/or does anybody
have a patch that will fix this on the Horde/IMP side of things?
