[imp] different attachment problems

I wonder if anyone has seen this before and can help.

Two problems have come up which might be related and are both
to do with attachments.

I am using HORDE 2.2.1, IMP 3.2.1 (and PHP 4.3.1) and MySQL for
the VFS backend for attachments.

Users are reporting that their attachments are NOT saved in the
'sent-mail' folder with the message (but recipients do get the
attachment).

Also when adding attachments that are greater than the size allowed
(4 Mb) - the compose screen does NOT report the error message
that should be displayed when this fails, but just refreshes
(as though it was ok).

I tested these reports, and have confirmed the problems. Is this to do
with Horde/IMP or my setup?

Any pointers would be appreciated.
