[imp] Incoming Attachments don't show up problem

Help, I've looked everywhere for a solution....

Everything else in IMP works, but I just can't see
attachments sent to me.  Sending attachments is not a
problem.

When viewing email with known attachments, I never get
to see the 'parts sections'... it is like there were
never any atachments there (dispite them showing up in
other IMAP clients).

Could this have something to do with write permissions
where incoming attachments are kept?  Or improper
setup of the mySQL database for HORDE?

I'm using a Linux 'shared' server with IMAP, and mySQL
installed.  I have installed HORDE and IMP in my
personal directory, configured it as much as I could
without being superuser, and it works fine, except for
attachments.  Interestingly enough, I didn't set up
the HORDE databse as instructed, but did setup another
database to store preferences (which works... so I get
the 'options' button in IMP).  Could it have something
to do with this other 'Horde' database?  Could someone
else have set this database up (being a shared server)
and I don't have full access to it?

I'm using:
Imp 3.2.2
Horde 2.2.4
