[imp] IMAP Folders not listed

I recently set up imp. When I log onto the imap server with another client it
does not show folders created by imp, nor does it appear that folders created
by other imap clients are shown in imp.

This is bad.

Is there a way to set things up differantly?

I'm using uw-imap.
