Hi everyone
Got horde cvs head with ldap authentication, courier-imap and imapproxy
My imap server and my proxy are on the same machine.
I installed imapproxy from horde cvs, and I have an irregular behavior that
happens from time to time, with no regularity (I'm repeating myself :-) . The
user logs in Horde, it authenticates well to ldap, the left menu appears but
the right portal page showing "Mail: Folder Summary" does not appear and I
got instead a "Login failed for some reason" page. If I click elsewhere (like
going in Kronolith, or Turba) and then come back to the Horde portal page or
the Mail (IMP) page, it works well and the logs tells me that the imapproxy
lets the user come in ok.
Here is the log of the imapproxy and imap when it does the wrong behaviour:
Mar 29 16:18:37 academielafontaine ImapProxy[18547]: Connection received from
172.17.0.103:53692.
Mar 29 16:18:37 academielafontaine ImapProxy[18547]: [172.17.0.103:53692 (0)]
Authentication attempt for user "e9600204".
Mar 29 16:18:37 academielafontaine imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:172.17.0.103]
Mar 29 16:18:42 academielafontaine ImapProxy[18547]: [172.17.0.103:53692
(53693)] User "e9600204" failed login.
Mar 29 16:18:42 academielafontaine imapd: LOGOUT, ip=[::ffff:172.17.0.103]
Horde log tells
Mar 29 16:18:42 HORDE [error] [imp] FAILED LOGIN 172.17.0.102 (forwarded for
[172.17.4.132]) to 172.17.0.103:1234[imap/notls] as e9600204 [on line 233 of
"/var/www/html/horde/imp/lib/Auth/imp.php"]
I'm using hordeauth=> 'full' in imp/config/servers.php
It happens once in a while with almost every user, but not always when the
imapproxy session is a new one (sometimes it works well even if it's been 2
days not logging in with an account, sometimes not).
Is that an Imapproxy behavior ? or related to IMP ? (I doubt it, because using
the imap server port instead of the imapproxy never makes that kind of
problem).
Thanks
