I thought this might be related to my recent changes to Magic.php, but I
can't reproduce this, neither with nor without the mime-magic extension.

In any case it looks like a broken mime-magic extension. Check that you
specified an existing magic.mime file when compiling and PHP and that this
is not broken/outdated.
