| Can't reproduce this. What steps did you take to install Horde and IMP?

	Downloaded horde 3.0 alpha and IMP 4.0 alpha tarballs from
ftp.horde.org, untarred them in a web-accessible place. Went to
horde/config/ and copied the .dist files to non-.dist files. Edited
conf.php to reflect system settings, including a separate database from
the existing horde/imp installation. Edited registry.php to reflect
/test-horde/ directory.

	Went to horde/imp/config and copied the .dist files to non-.dist files.
~ Puzzled by the lack of conf.php.dist, I resorted to reading the docs.
Read that I should run a script in horde/framework/, but there is no
such directory in my installation. Did find horde/scripts/setup.php,
though, so I ran that. It built a conf.php for IMP. Edited
horde/imp/config/servers.php to reflect my system. Go to
http://myserver/test-horde and it gives me a welcome screen, but I can't
log in to IMP.

	The file it's complaining about, horde/lib/Horde.php, does exist and is
world-readable.

| Probably because you selected application authentication via IMP without
| configuring IMP first.

	I had initially configured it that way, but I changed it to "auto",
with the following in horde/config/conf.php:

$conf['auth']['driver'] = 'auto';
$conf['auth']['params']['user'] = 'admin';

	Only guessing on the 'user' parameter, though. Looks like a bit of a
catch-22--I need to use horde to configure IMP, but I generally use IMP
to authenticate to horde. At least, that's the way I've done it on my
existing 2.2/3.2 installation.

	Thanks for the response!
