[imp] Spell checker trashing sig sep

I've just had someone point out that the space was missing from the end 
of a signature separator '-- ' in a message I sent from IMP (4, recent 
CVS). Looking into this it seems the space is there in the compose 
window, but disappears during automatic spell checking.
