[imp] application/octet-stream for ms-word

the error i get opening atachements like application/msword :
The API-call is closed abnormally (Ein API Aufruf wurde unnormal beendet)

How i configure my PC  (Windows XP - MSIExplorer - Openoffice), that is working
correctly ?
