[imp] imap connections break on attachments

FWIW, I run courier IMAP and routinely have connections from multiple
locations, including IMP, Mozilla and Evolution.

Maybe he's running out of concurrent connections from a single IP
(127.0.0.1?).  I believe the default limit in courier is 15.
