[imp] webmail we not send attachment over 2kb

I installed Horde: 2.2.5, IMP: 3.2.4 on Suse 8(SLE8),
this worked fine and I was able to send attachment of
4M  in size.

Then I install the following patch 
mod_php4-core-4.2.2-481
mod_php4-servlet-4.2.2-481
mod_php4-devel-4.2.2-287
mod_php4-4.2.2-481

apache-devel-1.3.26-57
apache-1.3.26-159

openssl-0.9.6g-114
openssl-devel-0.9.6g-114

The above patches/upgrade was apply to fix ssl
problem, https request was shuting down unexpectly
then hanging webmail. The patches/upgrade fix, the
problem but now I can not send attachment over 2kb 

Here is my php.ini
max_execution_time = 30    ;in seconds 
memory_limit = 8M
post_max_size = 8M
file_uploads = On
upload_max_filesize = 4M

Can you help? please
