[imp] saving identity info and dynamic IP in headers problem

Unfortunately none of what you suggested applies. I did create the 
db/tables, the password is there and working because I can see entries 
in the address book and plenty of data is getting written to the db such 
as datatree info and finally, I tried the migration scripts but when I 
had problems I decided to start from scratch, just in case. So consider 
this a fresh install now. All tables were recreated after dropping the 
existing tables and flushing so nothing stuck around.
