[imp] Disabling javascript for compose...

I would like to know if it is possible to disable javascript and still 
be able to use such buttons like compose on the upper toolbar.

Say instead of firing off a javascript function, generating a link to a 
plain-vanilla html-page which does (about) the same thing.
