[imp] Does IMP support IMAP ALERTs?

Does IMP support handing IMAP ALERTs back to the user?  Specifically, I was
interested in the user seeing the ServerDownAlert that the Sun IMAP server is
capable of setting, the ServerDownAlert setting described at
http://www.ysn.ru/docs/nsservers/msg/ag/mmp.htm

If IMP does handle IMAP ALERTs, is it implemented as a popup, message
on screen, or what?  Is there a specific setting I need to specify in a config
file?
