[imp] no [text/html] link on top of message

hi group,

i have a small problem i can't seem to solve.

when reading html emails (Content-Type: multipart/alternative)
there's no  '2 	unnamed  [text/html]'  link on top of the message.

strange thing is, if i hit the refresh button of my browser it
reloads the message and the link appears. 
(going back to my inbox and opening the message again also works)

i'm using Imp: H3 (4.0)
in an effort to troubleshoot this issue i also installed
imp HEAD from cvs, but the problem remains.

i don't have this problem with imp 3.x

any help on solving this is much appreciated.
