Hi!

I've found this very interesting thread

(on web: "MAPI calls for mailto: links",
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/mailing.www.horde-imp/browse_frm/thread/5f3016bcfb454ec6
)

Our firm has been in touch with Thomas Gereke and he helpfully sent us
the ImpMAPI.zip archive including the source.

This utility has some working functionality, however we would love to
see them advanced. Here are our wishlist:

1. What we need is support for attachments sent from windows
applications (e.g. MS Office).
  - I think this could be done using HTTP POST request to upload files
and to store the returned "uniq"-id. The "uniq"-id could then be used
when opening the compose.php document. Am I right here?
  - Alternatively, we could also be satisfied with a solution where a
mail draft is created in the users imap-folder. The user would then
manually find/edit/send it....

2. We'd also like that clicks on mailto-links in the browser would open
the Horde/Imp compose document.
  - Does this case differ from the above?

3. Finally, would it be possible create the utility so that it logs into
Horde/Imp if one are not already logged in?

Our customer is prepared to give a bounty on this project. However we
need an rough estimate on how much work this project would require...
We are not really familiar with the Horde bounty system. What is a
suitable bounty?

Best regards
