[imp] Session timeouts & composed message recovery

Since upgrading from an older CVS HEAD version of IMP to 4.0.4, we've 
noticed an increase in reports of users being unable to recover messages 
that they were composing when their session timed out.

I've looked through the configuration and sources for both 
installations, and haven't found any significant (to my eye, anyway) 
differences. However, we did upgrade both the Apache and PHP versions to 
the latest stable revisions (2.0.54 and 4.4.0, respectively) as well.

Does anyone have recommendations for where I might look to determine why 
the recompose/recovery functionality isn't working?
