They don't have a racist origin. Please provide evidence to suggest that
the word blacklist has ever been used in a racial context. The OED does
not list any context to support what you are saying.

You are perpetuating racism if you believe that the way to tackle it is to
identify it incorrectly with words. The word black has only very recently
been associated with racial stereotyping.

Racism certainly ought to be tackled but not by entering the foolish
notion that by incorrectly understanding the etymology of words you can
stamp out racism by changing their meaning. It's daft.

If he doesn't speak English, how does he know that the word has racist
origins? He is making a HUGE assumption and one that is incorrect.
